I am excited to be hosting this event for the men of our church and community. As the spiritual leaders of our families and church, my prayer is that we are challenged, encouraged and strengthened through this simulcast. Mark your calendars for this event!

EVENT DESCRIPTION: This two-hour simulcast will be filled with solid teaching, inspiring worship, and powerful stories to challenge the men of your church and community to become strong men of honor for Christ and for your families. Hosted live at Sherwood Church in Albany, Georgia, and broadcast to churches around the world, Alex and Stephen Kendrick, the writers of Courageous, Pastor Michael Catt, the author of Courageous Living, and Ed Litton, who played Pastor Hunt in Courageous, will be teaching on God's design for fathers, winning your children's hearts, and how men can make a stronger commitment to Christ. Then, the actors who played Javier, Nathan, Adam, Shane, and William Barrett in Courageous will be doing an inspiring roundtable session where they share personal stories of how God is working in their lives and in men across the nation.

If you are interested in learning more about Trinity Baptist Church or becoming a member, please attend the Membership class which is offered on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 4:30pm with the pastor. For more information, contact the church office.

The Bible is The Story of God' s Redeeming Love for sinful man. The purpose of Read the Bible for Life is to help us "grasp this grand story of Scripture" and guide us into Knowing, Understanding and Living God's Word in a transforming way. His Word is His Story and our call is to discover our place in His Story. Beginning January 1, as a church family, we will individually and corporately read through the Bible during the year 2012 using the Read the Bible for Life Chronological Reading Plan. To encourage one another and create a unified focus on reading through the Bible, Sunday Small Groups will use the reading plan as their discussion guide, Sunday morning worship services Bro. Tim will preach on select passages from each week's reading and Sunday evening services Bro. Tim will teach through topics such as difficult passages from the week's reading . Chronological Bibles are available in the church office for $15. Children's Bibles will also be available so that families can read through the Bible, as well.
